I remember Ashwin averaged something like 32 with the ball and 35 with the bat before 2013 home series against Aus. Who thought he would have these kind of bowling numbers in less than a decade!!!!!

 

29 5fers, 7 10fers, 7 MOTS, close to 5.5 wickets per test, closing in on 400 test wickets despite playing for most part in our greatest bowling unit.
