True, unless name is Rohit Sharma  you need to grind it out in Ranji, County, India A tours to be even considered for the squad. And if you by chance get to play , you need to average 80+ overseas through and through and 100+ in India to keep a long format talent like Rohit Sharma out of playing 11.  2 failures and Rohit should be back regardless whether he is fit, have any match practice etc. A perfectly rational system that is extremely motivational for Mayank Agarwal , Priyank Panchal , Shubman Gill and other upcoming talents who dream to play for national cricket team. Jai Ho.

Expected team. Probably a good decision to replace Mayank with Rohit as the former is really out of sorts. I feel Natarajan could've brought in x factor with a different angle, not to mention similar FC stats as Saini, and he knows Warner very well as well (the opposite is also true). But happy for Saini. He deserved the debut. Looking forward to a good contest resulting in Indian win

In a way whatever Rohit does is a bonus (Mayank was a sitting duck anyway) and he brings some experience and confidence to the side.

The way he plays swing in ODIs doesn't bring any confidence to top order. They think the pitch has some demons after looking at him. 

 

Rohit isn't Kohli that gets to walk in winning side in test matches.
