Yes because last series is what should count. Not that sschin averaged 68, 78 and 48 before his last year and a half, including winning series in NZ, drawing series in SA and taking India to no 1 in ranking

Common man he is single handedly batted so well in all the 3 tests and won you second match on that pitch. Had he not been played in this series forget about wtc final at the first place. He played well in Aus as well with limite opportunity what he got. Even if Rohit is not there your pujara ,kohli won't gonna win you wtc final have you seen their batting lately.
