You cannot say that to player like Pant.If you want the best out of Pant, you have to accept his shortcomings as well.  Yes if he stayed for rest of day he would have scored 150  but that is how he plays. He was bit unlucky too.

Think Pant was tiring a bit as well... Its too hot out there

I am saying this because he has shown two facets of his game. His first 50 was in 80 odd balls. Needed someone to tell him to calm down, a msg or a drink from the coach could have given him that breathing break to gather himself.

A lower order of Pant, Jadeja, Sundar, Ashwin is really OP. Our strongest ever for sure.

I would go with Sundar,Pant,Jadeja,Ashwin.Sundar has the technique and temperament to avert collapses before they begin

See would you have reverse swept first ball with new ball. That is the special talent this guy has, it needs to be nurtured.I don't think his short selection was wrong, he just got toe end of his bat.

Did you watch him bat? He pulled his thigh muscle while turning for a run, could have been exhaustion as well and hence decided to go after the bowling. TM did well not to disturb him

India scored 106 runs in 22 overs after Tea before Pant throws it away but tha'ts the way he plays....Incredible hitting !!!!

Pant didnt throw it away.

His innings and the way he played is what turned this match on its head.

If he played like tuk tuk tuk, India would still be behind.
