ShoonyaSifar Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 This bunch of jokers did everything they could to derail Pant's career after the 2019 WC. If was not for the 36 all out and Kohli coming back to India, his test career could well have been over after the Aus series. He had already been dropped from the LOIs. If these buffoons have any self respect, they should publicly apologise to Pant, like they used t publicly criticise him. Suhaan Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Specially Kohli by resigning from all formats Cricket is a bullet train these days and it has left ragged tagged Kohli station long ago raki05 and Mosher 2
SK_IH Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Since 2017, I have been longing for Pant-Pandya combo at 5-6 for India's limited overs team. Even Kohli cannot sabotage that now. express bowling, raki05 and Mosher 3
mishra Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Rishabh Pant at such a young career allready has One test 100 at oval one memorable overseas series in Australia One memorable home series Averages 45+. 3 hundred and 4 90+ scores in 20 matches. He is currently our batting MVP. Mosher, Vk1, express bowling and 2 others 5
shami_123 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Rishabh Pant has already done enough to walk into India's all time test cricket 11 as wk-bat. Much better than even Dhoni in test cricket. Vk1, Mosher, raki05 and 1 other 4
GautiMaan Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Even 2019 WC was big injustice to him, dropped from the squad and bought in at the last moment to be the scapegoat, still played a good hand and outscored likes of DK and Kohli. We can only imagine what could have happened if he had been backed properly and given time to settle in LOIs. express bowling, Mosher, AuxiliA and 1 other 4

That was classic Kohli musical chair at play. In 2018, he was 2nd to Dhoni against WI & then against Aus-NZ, DK was made the reserve keeper. Thereafter, Pant came back as 2nd WK in home series against Australia. Then eventually dropped again & DK reinstated as backup WK. The story was same for even the no.4 options. Virat Kohli was the main reason behind India' lack of planning in WC 2019 & his rudderless captaincy still capable of ruining future ICC events. raki05 and Vk1 1 1

Of course I remember that time,we at ICF kept banging our heads about the need to back this guy but TM kept playing their weird dance with DK,Rayudu,Pandey,Iyer,Pant,Gill and in the end came home empty handed SK_IH and rollingstoned 1 1

Saha walked in despite Pant being doing world class with bay and gloves from 2018 Eng tour to WI tour. Even in LOIs, see how many public comments were made about him taking responsibility, him playing rash shots, not comparing himself to Dhoni (as if it's a crime). All this was a planned disinformation campaign to break him mentally. He is still the same batsman, same keeper but Kohli-Shastri wanted to derail him in 2019 to ensure Dhoni got to play the T20 WC planned in Australia in 2020 and even the one in India in 2021. nevada 1

NameGoesHere Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Thats's the problem with meaningless critics - they can say any $hit. If the guy fails, they were right all along. If the guy succeeds, it was because he listened to their critique.

Dude, he had scored 100s in first series in England, in first series in Aus, when even legends like Laxman, Dravid dont have in both countries together in their entire career. What better shot selection? He scored 159 in 4th innings in Australia in 2018 You really need to stop making excuses Edited March 5, 2021 by New guy

Adamant Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 You mean the guy who brought him in the team and continuously asked some idiots to not boo him. Do you know how many indian fans and analysts were against Rishabh Pant? Still he was always there in the team.
