We were doing just that in the uk ( no exceptions) from Jan to March. We survived.  I am sure he can as well. Just one more month. Its not a life sentence.

I don't have enough time to watch the Netflix/Hulu/Amazon series, Indian channels :) I picked up woodworking as a hobby in 2019. Spent like 600$ just on power tools and other stuffs. As usual i was very actively working on it for a month or two. Then gave up.

I agree, nobody should be working when sick. Chide the family and husband for letting it happen. Rather than with movie dialogues like Maa Maa hoti hain.

You  can see that a lot of admins on icf used the time we were at home to interview people on the against the turn channel.  Believe it or not it takes a great degree of refinement on  the questions etc. Eventually you just have to start adapting.

 

 

My general observation of the mumbai middle class is that they usually have 2 to 3 sets of friends. Housing society, family cousins, education, work. Then there are perpetual family events. Marraiges, anniversary celebrations of elderly.  I.e there are avenues for the youth to constantly go out. 

Those staying in the city such as @Mariyam or @ravishingravi  can confirm or deny my inferences. 

 

This cousin of mine is smart. He is also hard working academically . But has a i dont give a fudge attitude. A selfish streak. Sister despite being 4 years younger more grounded.

To our credit, we didn't go into a toilet paper buying frenzy. 

 

Not sure what wiping one's arse with toilet paper - *yuck* - will do to protect them against a respiratory illness.

Honestly, bleach is worse.  It can kill you instantly.  Gaumutra will not cure and it feels disgusting on some level, but at least you won't die from it.

That bidet/bum gun is the best thing over. 

 

Like a knight in shining armour saving a damsel in distress, it came to the rescue when the toilet paper hoarding was in full swing.

Legit, I had difficulty getting hold of a plumber to come install the bidet. They were THAT busy. 

 

Those were some truly strange times
