No, thats religious and philosophical view. Scientific view is we need to figure out how to live with it as its not going anywhere. My view is science to come with a solution so we can survive.

How did doctors die in the second wave ? Most of them got the covishield shots going by percentages. 

 

It may be 90s but I don't think we can claim 100% success against severe illness or worse, at least currently.

Alas, you didn’t read the article you posted, beyond the cluck-baity headlines. Read these lines copied from the article and introspect

While addressing a press conference, Rawat also said, “Man needs to outpace the virus to stay safe.”
 

So, there is a pretext and some thoughts in a context. You are unfortunately jizzing reading the pretext.

Bjp really need to take some of these media outlets to court.

 

The headline is far from the truth of what was said.

 

 

I can see a new media offensive by leftist seculars. Twist words out if context completely.  Amplify without mentioning the context.

 

Then some useful idiot "centrists" will comment on it without digging up the issue.

Folks here are complaining that BJP and supporters are worried about image building. There is valid criticism and then there is absolute lies. How do you tackle lies from the credible media?  On CNN, they show half burnt bodies and claim deaths are 30x than reported? What is the basis of their insinuations? Our guys are lapping it up. I have family that have seen deaths and positive cases. But there is a limit to bias. Esp media bias is going on with impunity. Any retaliation is termed a surgical strike on FoE.

I believe we do not factor in things like immunocompromised people don't respond very well to vaccines. It helps them minimally. People with seriously underlying conditions may not enjoy the full benefits of a vaccine.

AZ SII has said that these deaths of the 50+ yr old medical personnel in India after the second dosage is one of the major reasons to increase the gap between the two doses to 12 weeks.

Funny thing is, Modi Hate brigade really thinks that icfers on this forum supporting Modi are unequal. for example,  @speedheat questioned me as if somehow modi People respecting culture, hundism, have to be a bigot as a pro culture, pro bjp, pro Hindu, pro faith can not align all four with science and modernity.

It just you know it if you are familiar with language. Like many places you hear "Chai pi li" but other places it is  "Chai banaya" and not "Chai banai". Both go fine. But Quam is definitely feminine gender.

Lockdown and extremely graphic news stories have played some role. Finally people are sort of scared of Corona. I say sort of because lockdown will be lifted in couple of weeks then lets see if people make effort to follow covid norms else we will be back within a month.
