Mitch Marsh, Philippe and Hazlewood backed out before the tournament. Liam Livingstone left midway and now Andrew Tye has left it too and according to David Hussey who is working with KKR, There are at least 2 more Australian players who are trying to muk mukaa IPL and leave India ASAP. I suspect them to be the ones earning low money bc I don't think Warner, Meredith, Richardson would be looking to leave though it could be Smith as he's not earning a lot and is easily replaceable too.

Nothing wrong in hosting it in India at the time that call was made  but the pitches we have been getting and on top of that the unfortunate circumstances right now makes it look even worse.

Empty stadiums, bio-bubbles are same  in UAE or India. What a UAE bringing in more than Indian venues ?

Compare the covid situations in both countries.

I guarantee you that none of the foreign players would have pulled out if IPL was in UAE again.

Maybe other will follow suit as well especially those who aren't playing

Let's see how long this lasts.  Bubble is holding as of now & we move to other venues..   Including Delhi.

who wants them anyway? There is no crowd gatherings to worry about. There are billions living there, not everyone is affected.
