Wrestling is much better to watch than boxing. Points scoring is easy to follow, judges seem much fairer.

 

Won't mind if boxing is dropped from the games. Those who are interested can follow professionals.

Maybe on ICF, not sure about majority Indians. Had it been a gold medal match maybe, we aren't assured of a medal right now and that reduces interest for many people.

I thought I heard someone in commentary mention that Ravi Kumar's next opponent( some Kazakh) is injured? Is it true?

Both Ravi and Deepak decimated their opponents. Great fun to watch

Boxing does far too many changes in rules every few years. Mostly useless and makes the sport more biased

Thats great. Deepak looked great in his bout against the Nigerian. Wish both of them make it.

The Iranian is in other Semi final I think.  Deepak probably a little lucky here with the match up.

the american is good too. 2018 world champion. not a high seed cause had skipped/not played for a while.

 

and iranian will obv be in other bracket. hes no 1 seed.

Wrestling is the best sport ever. Toughest sport.

 

Even a small wrestler under 70 kilos can ragdoll a 100 kilo non wrestler athlete .

Satish gave a tougher fight to Jalolov than this GBR boxer, pity our man had to face the beast in QF and not SF. 

 

After the Uzbek's performance today, all the more proud of Satish, maybe he will be Jalolov's toughest opponent this whole tournament 

 

Draw matters, at least we have repechage in wrestling.

Sanayev got injured above his right eye during his bout with the Japanese boxer and there were 3-4 stoppages due to the wound continuing to bleed. Despite that injury and despite being behind on points, he powered through in the final minute to win the bout. 

Hope he has some weakness due to that injury and it helps Dahiya! Exciting day!
