I already said there was probably no malice in his statement but using this opportunity to plug his role seems way to convenient

I would have had more respect for him had he called the Olympic coach the real life Kabir Khan not call himself an ex-coach  .

But the real coach's comeback was awesome. srk would have ordered some salt from swiggy :phehe:

It's banter. People joke.

Humour/Joking around may be an alien and difficult to comprehend concept in the USA, but it's acceptable behaviour here. :dontknow:

And when did I say it's not ? :dontknow:

But "banter" usually involves a bit of "true salt" in the midst of all the sugar. Sometimes that salt tastes a bit more namkeen like it did here. :giggle:

And no I don't live in the USA. :roti:

Don't be so touchy. :nono:

Everything needn't have an ulterior motive!

ok next time Marijne should claim credit for his acting in baazigar. I'm sure he won't because of the overacting from srk :phehe: Maybe I should bump the overacting thread with srk's movies

That's a joke. I chuckled at that.

I really don't get why people are so upset over that coach part. Don't see any condescension whatsoever.

If the late SSR were to tweet what you mentioned, I'd probably chuckle at that too. More so coz it would be directed at Kohli.

And Kohli has to reach a WC final!!!

Okay maybe you have a point lol

And for that I owe u an apology!

Sorry.

Calling someone an American unnecessarily is uncalled for.

If Rudaali was an olympic sport, ICF could send a strong contigent with the ability to wail about any trivial/non-trivial issue.

Funnily enough, most people on this site who would cry buckets about Woke beahviour/Wokism are the ones who have mastered the art of taking offense even in the most innocuous of cases.

Not very different from the 'wokes' they despise.

He even calls himself ex coach kabeer kahn

He should have said filmy coach instead of ex-coach.. that came across as a bit harsh on the real Kabeer Khan

That's a fictional character!

There is no real Kabir Khan. A namesake who makes forgettable films. But no one in hockey.

mariyam, there is one thing saying it was a harmless dumb statement and there is another claiming that to be a brilliant satire/joke.

We all do that. Trust me I get it :phehe:
