Also apart from making a bucketloads of money had he done something for women’s hockey like sponsorship etc he would get some leeway there. As a part of the shooting of Chak de India, the production team refurbished two hockey stadiums and fixed the grass/ turf. Something the hockey federation of India had put off for a while. I already said there was probably no malice in his statement but using this opportunity to plug his role seems way to convenient I would have had more respect for him had he called the Olympic coach the real life Kabir Khan not call himself an ex-coach .

I really don't get why people are so upset over that coach part. Don't see any condescension whatsoever. If the late SSR were to tweet what you mentioned, I'd probably chuckle at that too.
