2-0 or 3-0. Draw incase of rain. England are just not good enough team to beat our current side.

what was the situation yesterday at stumps?

Tail won't save us everytime

Middle order won't **** the bed every time from here.  And "Jimmie" is going to pull up lame soon just like Broad.  One of these test matches is going to allow the Indian middle order to feast and grind the England 'attack' into dust.

oh, and if Rohit manages to go 'brohit' finally in an away test match? on a sunny day on a flattish track?

Mayhem.  And we are all going to be here for it.

They aren't really, Sunny was right in his assessment. I doubt Anderson plays all 5 tests this series & Root will fail in at least one test, both innings, so probably we'll be threatened in just one more!

Anderson will play next with the rest in between

Woakes might be back who's also pretty good for these conditons

We still have problems to fix, specially batting. So won't be surprised if Eng win one.But we should win the series

England's batting line-up is mediocre. If hameed is considered as a replacement, then I don't have much confidence in their bench strength. Without stokes, even the bowling is very thin. This is a very weak Westindies, Srilankan level team tbh.

Root and Anderson can save test matches but can't win. So 2-0 or 3-0 is my prediction.

Yes but for that looks like a lot needs to go right for Eng, I still think a seaming/swinging deck is ideal for them to win, much like spinners for India, but they'll actually need to have more than decent batters - they simply don't have more than 2.5-3.5 batters in the team right now & 1-1.5 is Joe Root :hysterical:

we will win all barring any draws caused due to RAIN.

England team without allrounder STOKES , Jeff archer and Stuart Broad has no teeth to get our batsman out..Pujara and Rahane were in bad form and still scored in this test.

I hope they are replaced in the next test and if they are not replaced , they will bounce back in form and score some runs for sure.

Kohli is also going to score some big runs at good pace too....

shardul and Umesh Yadav are ready to play test cricket too...actually India should let 2 pacers out of the 4 who are a bit rusty rest and then also I expect INDIA to win.

Umesh Yadav should definitely be played else he may loose his confidence.

prasidh and the delhi fast bowler who returned to india are two best pacers ready to take over from seniors soon. But Yes Siraj has announced himself and very soon he will be leading INDIA attack.

Sibley

Burns

Bairstow

Root

Stokes/probably Pope now

Buttler

Moeen

Woakes

Robinson (better than current broad and curran)

Wood/archer

Anderson

Yep pretty much full strength except stokes and woakes. Stokes has poor record vs India in batting but he generally bowls well vs us.

Woakes is the danger man but I think our tail may wag vs woakes because he isn't fast.

England is still a strong side. But if India picks correct selections then they should win.

I predict 2-1 India over the next 3 tests.

Bad idea vs India. It's a lottery. Seaming track I.e.

If booms shami siraj and shardul all play they can run through England.

I think best bet is to prepare complete flat pattas and bat us out of the game. Our middle order is still suspect.

This

England have huge problem speically their young batting .

This time we have come prep for curran who came out of syllabus last time.

If they make green pitches their thin batting will be even in more problem.

Luckily bairstrow scored some runs or else he also has been a struggle in test and root has been batting at his best.

May be they need to drop curran n get woakes who is expected to be fit by 3rd test and may be even overton . But batting has only issues with no solutions. High quality indian bowling makes it worse and their young batsman doesnt even have good record against spinners on those domestic english pitches so every kind of pitch is a problem for them.

Also bat 1st and they can do that since rat hardly wins tosses.

Lmao exactly. I am fully expecting us to lose 2 more tosses. We should win 1 where he wins toss for sure. We should win one more when we lose toss.

Even bowling is not up to the mark not just batting

England gonna make changes next test onwards & our batting is still majorly mediocre. So, I think India's overall performance in the series will depend on bowler's fitness. I say the series will still be a close one & will decided at Menchester only.

I am not convinced by our batters at all ,it was a once in a blue moon performance from the tail which saved us ,I don't expect the same every time .

England can easily win 2 of the remaining 3 matches
