ShoonyaSifar Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Can BCCI sack Shastri and Kohli right away? There is no way these clowns should be allowed anywhere near leadership positions in Indian cricket. Both of them are a disgrace and a national embarassment. All because our coach used the tour to promote his book and the captain got the entire team to join the launch event. rollingstoned, anish2tweet and Lone Wolf 1 2

Austin 3:!6 Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Vikrant is saying Indian players were reluctant to play as they did not want to jeapordise the IPL. Horrible stuff. Norman and rollingstoned 2
The Realist Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Typical Kohli. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Because these terms werre agreed BEFORE the series. If india had problems they could raise issue BEFORE and not agree for tour you cannot cry about what you agreed to before hand They have held many series including football with far mode crowds and never had any issues. This is similar to that. Just because the reports came out negative, doesnt mean they dont have Covid. RT-PCR returns quite a few false negatives. Obviously, the priority for anyone would be their own well being and their families. Why would anyone risk their lives over a game ? This is not war. It's not even in the same ballpark at all. Some of them have already gotten it and I suppose all of them have been double vaccinated. Not to mention they are professional sportsmen who are not in the risk category for a disease that is still not fatal in most cases. You will get plenty such situations in your career where you will have to decide what is important for you. You can theoretically die on the field like Phil hughes did too, khelna chhod denge fir ?

Safety is up to home board to assure like BCCI did earlier this year. Did ECB force the Indian coach to attend the book launch despite clear directives from BCCI to avoid and not go to crowded places? we have literally handed them a series equalisers without them having to even bowl a ball just because a stupid book launch was very important ShoonyaSifar 1

Indian fans and as well as English fans will be rightly pissed off. this is a farce for sure If it’s postponed for couple of days it’s ok as today it could be washout. As far as IPL is concerned, all India players returning from England do mandatory quarantine as per UAE regulations.
