There should be someone in charge who monitors the development of the next gen 140 k+ quicks. But not happening. Saini split his finger webbing during the 2020 IPL and from there his decline started. He was having back spasms on the eve of the first ODI in Australia in late 2020, but was made to play 2 ODIs despite this which probably aggravated his injury. His fitness was not managed properly and we lost out on a 150 k pacer just like that. Shardul is looking so unfit. I would really like to know why Prasidh is bowling a bit slower at only age 25. And the promising U19 pacers like Mavi, Nagarkoti and Tyagi are all going downhill. In the first two odis against aus saini was still bowling 145kph, it's the hammering in those two odi's I feel which has left a scar on saini, yhh your right he was definitely injured, looked no where near his best in the test match he played, you remember nathu Singh in 2015 the guy was bowling quick, picked up a five wicket haul against SA in a tour game, could have been drafted into the odi's and t20s then but in return the selectors picked sreenath Arvind and Mohit Sharma, nathu got injured later and is nowhere to be seen now, there is a few more quick bowlers around Sushant Mishra, prithviraj Yarra, minad manjrekar, simarjeet singh but they simply don't play enough domestic cricket, kuldip sen from mp looks decent. express bowling 1

Nathu Singh was one of the most promising pacers I have seen from India. He had this twin ability of bowling quick stump directed indippers as well as getting some deliveries to rear up nastily from just short of a length. The WI quicks of the early 80s used these 2 deliveries very frequently to get wickets, along with the rib ticklers to soften batters up. Nathu is a big big loss for Indian cricket. Mavi is another pacer who could bowl both these deliveries in 2018 and 2019. Lost both of them after that. This is infuriating. Edited October 26, 2021 by express bowling Mosher and Vijy 2

sandeep Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Speculation on my part, but I see Dhoni's influence in sending Jadeja to bat ahead of Pandya in the last game.... Just because Jadeja has done with the bat in IPL doesn't change the fact that he's never done well with the bat in international T20. Lord, ViruDilSeKhelo, asterix and 1 other 1 1 2

Kartik's action is much better now. Has bowled much faster than what he did in u19 when he used to try to emulate Bhuvi. He has become a genuine fast bowler now which he wasn't back then.
maniac Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 As per the other thread opened by @vvvslaxman, we didn’t score a boundary for 71 balls in the middle overs, that has Thala the mentor written all over it raki05 and Vijy 1 1
