I back Jassi to do it in practice.  He has done it before once to Shankar in 2019 WC.

Where is Siraj when you need to INJURE  practice some batting in the nets ?  I think  Pandya needs some net practice Siraj

This guy is a national embarassment -  He literally did nothing with a bat -  He got 5 overthrows in his 10 or 11 glorious runs he made.   After that hung onto his shoulder like he was a linebacker playing 60 mins out there

I feel like he is going to win the match for us vs n.z

I do not rate this guy but just a gut feeling.

I really hope that doesn't happen or we will be stuck with this guy for the next year or two ....

I don't even mind getting knock out in group stages if that put Pandya's career to a rest from the national colors and give him a lifetime membership at MI

Overthrows were 5 byes, not in his scores. Guy barely played 8 balls.

The 11 precious runs he scored could have been sacrificed for a better batsman coming ahead of Jadeja or a specialist bowler to further strengthen the bowling ..

He should have come ahead of Jadeja but that's the doing of mentor singh dhoni. Jadeja in no world is better than Pandya as a striker even when out of form.

That's an assumption as you weren't in the dressing room...and the think tank decided to keep Pandya back.

The fact that he did come back after Jadeja shows the confidence the dressing room has in his abilities

If Pandya wasn't playing -  Ishan > Pandya to bat   ,  Thakur > Pandya for bowling ...

Lol true. But he is neither a good bowler nor a finisher. What the hell is he?

Zen will talk about his exploits vs australia C lineup that dint have hazelwood and starc. He scored against some absolute cans.

Fit to do what exactly .should not be in the XI if he cant bat ahead of Jadeja and also bowl a few overs.

TM also need to use Pandya to tonk spinners and upset the opposition plans, the guy is not in form and we cant expect him to rack up runs at the death against high pace, but what he can do even if out of form is bash trundlers and spin, so use him in the middle overs rather than having some nonsense template where he will bat only between overs 16 and 20.
