Kuldeep in his prime was gun...  Even a struggling Kuldeep bamboozled Babar in World Cup. 

That Asia Cup 2018 dismissal of Babar is even better.  Bowled him on a googly going past his outside edge.

problem is he bowls too quick and hence doesnt get much deviation either way. So variation is useless as you can play him to leg all the time

I still believe loss due to batting failure and garbage bowlin in pp by Bhuvi and Shami. These pitches havily support batting second team, it was really difficult for bowlers to bowl after pp in second inning due to dew. I am sure varoon has performed much better in first inning. We are loosing matches due to garbage experienced players who always choke in crunch matches.

Are there any spinners here? Can anybody tell me what's the mystery about Varun Chakravarthy. Cricinfo notes him as a leg-break bowler. I have seen him bowling off-spin as well. But, the mystery.

Varun Chakravarthy is a type of bowler you see a lot of in tennis ball cricket, bowlers who use their fingers to get any sort of movement out of a tennis ball. Fair play to him he has brought those skills to a proper cricket ball but dont think its really a surprise

 

His USP is his accuracy, still mostly a containing bowler if batsman dont try to play premeditated shots

The same cricketers go ga ga over our players in our wins

Although Varun is no threat/game changer kind of bowler but i expect paxtanis to come up with this,the wierd sense of superiority complex is funny

One win against us and they have gone mad,lets hope the madness continues and we see a famous paxtani performance

Every kid has played all types of indian bowlers and those kids have now become jawans since 1992 and only after 29 yrs they beat india in wcup.. wah

With exactly the same action o rather without any perceptible difference, being able to bowl off and leg spin and more importantly the straighter ones, vary his speed and lengths. He did lose it in his last over, bowling 2 half trackers but on any other day would have picked up a couple of wickets.

Varun bowled well, I disagree he ain't a defensive bowler but a attacking one, he bowled a bit to quickly against Pakistan, numbers don't lie, he has outperformed even narine in the ipl last two years, give him atleast 8 games before making a judgement, he will be terrific against non subcontinental teams. Instead of Rahul chahar, time to give markhande more India A games.

Was about to write the same. for those who arent aware miadad said pakistan ke gali gali mai irfan jaise bowler milte hai. We beat the crap out of them in pakistan.
