Jadeja in T20 WCs since 2009

I have written a lot about the tuk tuk brigade of KL, Rohit, & Kohli including Rohit-Kohli being the common factor (including failing in many high  pressure games) in all Ind world cups (ODIs+T20s+WTC) from 2012 to 2021. Below is Jadeja T20WC since 2009:

That 25 off 35 ,was the most atrocious match losing innings I have ever seen. Yuvraj and Yusuf were waiting for their batting while this fraud was eating balls.

He was sidelined along with Ashwin rightfully. A small dip in form of Kulcha was all he needed to get back. Some improvement in batting. That's it. Everyone ignored the fact his bowling regressed very badly. Purely as spinners both Axar and Ashwin are better than Jadeja. His fake all round skills ensured Ashwin miss 4 tests in a row in England.

Also mention overall stats, batting stats and bowling stats for World T20. Then it will give a more clear understanding.

Pandya was injured and he was brought back to maintain that so called elusive "balance" which he never provides. And that innings against NZ after Manju's comments made his case strong again. If not KulCha India should have moved ahead leaving this garbage behind in search for some better spinner/batsman. Ashwin,too should not have been picked but I won't mind if guys like VC are getting place then why not Ashwin. But then again even he isn't that long term prospect. We didn't learn anything after WI in 2016 SF mauled this same set of bowlers. We are back to more or less same bowling line up and it is not surprise that team isnt winning with it.

Manju was wrongly bashed about him.  Pandu gets hate for his 5 year investment.  Jaddu is more than 12 years investment of mediocrity in limited overs cricket.

Jaddu's bowling these days is awful.

 

6th bowler at best.

 

His batting has improved but I don't have confidence in T20s.

 

We really needed Venkatesh Iyer.

 

One thing we can do is use Jaddu like Moeen.

 

Play 10 - 15 balls...but make sure you get 30 runs or get out.

 

If you can't get out, get run out.

I'm just tired of seeing the same faces again and again in big tournaments. Kohli, Rohit, Jadeja, Ashwin, Bhuvi, Shami all have been regulars since 2013 without delivering a single title. 

 

Even worse thing is that there's a strong possibility of all these oldies playing together again in 2023 for the "final hurrah".

Jaddu has a repeat habit of "flatter to decieve". Plus there's his fielding, which makes one feel he is worth a place for that alone. But he is not a match winner in either batting or bowling and so not the all rounder the selectors and public crave. In fact, Shardul type bowlers who can bat a bit and Venky Iyer type batsmen who can bowl a bit are the type of players to look for.

Jadeja is just crap, if I have to compare he is equivalent to Sunil Joshi, nothing more nothing less. Infact you can also argue that Joshi was a bigger hitter of the ball.

Jadeja has disappointed. I expected better from him in one of the games vs Pakistan or New Zealand.

 

He did got promoted ahead of Pandya in the Pakistan game. Took 10 balls, got his eyes in and then got out.

 

Against NZ, he did okay but it was a game already lost.

Scored quick runs while Pandya was scoring at SR of 90 in NZ even when India had 5 wickets left in last 6 overs.

Pandya is a minnow basher. But jadeja is a crap. Atleast Pandya is a potential All-rounder who hasn't proved zilch yet but jadeja is a proven fraud All-rounder.
