We need a big hitter who can bowl a couple of quiet overs too. Tendulkar Sehwag Ganguly Raina Yuvraj everybody used to bowl. Nowadays hardly anybody does. Venkatesh Iyer maybe.

We have multi-skilled players currently in the squad including SDP (though limited bowling currently), Pant (wk), and Kishan (wk). To play like Eng, we need to add more such players as then it creates an event where any 2-3 of them fire on the day to win a match versus only 1-2 having to fire in every game by taking huge risks to compensate for slow scoring by the top order (#1-3)

 

In future, once developed, the following can be added to the squad V Iyer (needs to see his 2nd season), Samad (needs to bat higher up in IPL), and so on

That team would beat Namibia and Scotland and that's about it.  Performances in Indian pyjama league mean zilch. Big gulf in class between IPL and international, as has been shown in this edition of the world cup.
