Your argument was regarding when Kohli takes break due to personal reasons, we Indians abuse him. Well, you must remember because the craze of cricket is so unprecedented in India, that is the reason why BCCI is the most powerful board and the Indian cricketers have such high profile life and earn such huge money.

So, Kohli or any other Indian cricketer is earning huge moolahs also is because of we fans devoting so much of our time in watching the game on stadium, TV sets and anywhere. If we don't watch cricket, their salaries will take a hit. It works both ways. Luckily at the moment, cricket has no competition from any other sport in India.

In contrast, South African or Kiwi cricketers don't earn such huge moolah and their fans could care least about who is retiring and when. Simple.

In what world that translates to abusing players about their personal lives. Some people are really delusional.

You cannot convince the whole Indian population. There is still a large chunk of illiterates out there. They recently abused Mohammad Shami too.

Point here is that it works both ways. Because of fans only, BCCI is the richest board in the world.

More like you are missing the point here.

I am not saying they have right to abuse lol( I didn't even said that at the start) but they certainly have right to question as to why Kohli is leaving from such a high profile test series in Down Under after the 36 all-out and the humiliation that India went through after the first test.

All these guys are retiring from tests because it prolongs their career AND their income. Why go play 5 days straight when it is going to create more risks and prevent you from playing and getting paid in the IPL, likely 10x what they make in tests? It also gives you more free time for family.

I think once you establish yourself, this is likely the route for top flight cricketers.

Racist retires :nice:

Irony is not taking a knee is considered racist but when a cricket board has quota system for black players it is not.

Imagine any cricket board has quota that xyz amount of white players has to be there. Entire woke and BLM fraternity will be up in arms. But just bcoz blacks recieve benefit of this quota system from SA board, no one considers it as racist.

Whites deserve to be treated as such in s.africa due to the sins and misdemeanours of their past.

It does not matter  why BCCI is richest board.Personal lives of players should always be off limits.

Kohli takes couple of matches off for family reasons we (you) abuse his daughter and wife.
DeKock does it he is a fine gentleman and a martyr lmao:giggle:

Quit this fake Randi rona. No one on this forum ever abused Kohli's family or daughter.

Whatever 'abuse' Kohli gets here, he totally deserves it given that he himself is an uncouth and foul-mouthed individual.

Whites have contributed a lot to development(especially economy) of SA.

SA has gone to dogs since ANC came to power. Law and order broke down. Economy is a mess. Cities are a nightmare. Media will not mention it as it will be called as un-PC.

Let's give a benefit of doubt to deKock. He deserves a safe space for him and his family.  He has means to get out, let him get out.

Most of ICF are immigrants in phoren lands. So it must be extra easy to understand.

People who are saying that he retired because hes earned enough money in the IPL are plain foolish. I commend his decision, rather than padding and prodding around, with hit and misses and embarassing inside edges, he manned up his failures and decided to end this painful journey for himself and the Team. This is in the best interest of both himself and south African cricket. Our cricketers on the contrary, inspite of count less failures, continue to embarass themselves at big stage, even after they are well past their prime. MSD was a prime example in this.

Yea after plundering their lands and ostracising them? Depriving them of decent living conditions etc? Not good enough.
