Ankit bhai the bowling quality in that video you posted  is very poor and doesn’t reflect this kid’s talent.

Base , bat speed to same hi hota hai. Baaki against high quality bowler kaisa hai wo to check hona hi hai ek din

I saw such videos of srk, dube, iyer long back but was never convinced .

19 age minimum

Stupid rule.

In Australia it would be a breach of our Trade Practices Act. Its why kids in Australia from the age of 17+ can nominate for the draft in (AFL or Rugby) and play when they turn 18. Its also why they can if good enough play in the Big Bash. A lot of kids in Australia are not only good at cricket, but usually other sports as well depending on which state they are from usually.

Whoever set the rule, needs to appreciate that these kids could potentially be lost to other sports or other interests. Its rather foolish, not to mention for some kids of a poor background a massive loss of earning potential.

Its actually madness to have this rule in India.

There was this guy Atul Bedade who was exclusively picked for effortless striking power.  Hit like 3 or 4 sixes against Pakistan in a ODI game.

he had a good SR of 86 for that era. not so adept at strike rotation, otherwise it could have been even higher. Kapil had a SR of near-100 in one of the decades (maybe 80s).

India desperately needed a finisher back then. Azharuddin was more a strike rotator. Apart from Tendulkar only Bedade/Robin singh had somewhat decent strike during the mid 90s.  VIkram Rathour's (our current batting coach) had a strike rate of 58. That was low even in that era.
