sage Posted September 8, 2022 Author Posted September 8, 2022 More tributes than the Queen raki05 and Sgattick10 2
cricketfan28 Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 some credit should go to sarma for backing him. hopefully it ends well.
vvvslaxman Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 I was expecting him to flunk today given his wide range of weakness against off spinners. He was going to be up against best T20 off spinner in the world. raki05 1
putrevus Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Well deserved , this sort of reaction does not happen to ordinary cricketers. It happens only to once in generation players.Kohli is the greatest white ball batsman. There is no one who is even close. Stan AF and AuxiliA 2
kosingh Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 I am not a Kohli fan. But still, happy for him. raki05, Ravi_Shastri, Sgattick10 and 1 other 4
Adamant Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 This happens when you are a megastar of world cricket. For example no one would give a flying eff about Sharma or Pandya etc Ravi_Shastri 1

vvvslaxman Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 This is quiet a turn around. Although he is not perfect yet. Most surprising aspect was his handling of spin. He played pull shots well even when he was in poor form. The 6th stump line was giving him problem for last 2 years. Next one is orthodox off spinn, orthodox leg spin, orthodox left arm spin. Clarke 1
beetle Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 (edited) It was a very entertaining centurybut people should remember it was against Afg in a no pressure match. Just like bhuvi's fifer...we should not read too much in that. Edited September 9, 2022 by beetle raki05, Mariyam, jf1gp_1 and 4 others 7
AuxiliA Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 What a Big match player this guy is. Always performs when the stakes are high. All hail the King! Norman, Sgattick10, nevada and 1 other 3 1
raki05 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 (edited) This century has as much significance as Sachin 100th 100 against mighty bd. Hope like Sachin he also takes retirement. Edited September 9, 2022 by raki05 sorak and nevada 2

Number Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Talk about overreaction. Against a much lesser opposition whose bowlers didn't get to sleep night before the match. raki05 1

It all gets bottled up Kohli didn't garner this response in his prime. It's out of sympathy raki05 and nevada 2

coffee_rules Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 He forgot to thank Zadran for dropping his catch during PP raki05 and nevada 1 1
