Do we hire all these untrained people to be coaches because all the good domestic coaches (e.g., Pravin Amre, Chandrakant Pandit) are locked up by IPL franchises and there is some conflict of interest clause?

@Ankit_sharma03 @express bowling @Austin 3:!6 @maniac @rkt.india ??

Could be.

But I think the bigger reason is because they want  lesser known cricketers who will be yes men to the captain and the coach.

Look at the selection panel for the last 5 years or so. Again fringe cricketers who are likely to bow down to the big men in charge

They don't want any kind of different opinions but just obedience, so that the inner coterie of buddies can always play.

Sairaj Bahutule also known as Sairaj BahutDhule for his tendency to get shamelessly bashed by every batsmen of every opposition. He is wait... What... Bowling Coach :hysterical: abe saalo Jay shah and chor party BC.. Kitna chewtiya banoyege saalo.

VVS Laxman coach.. :hysterical: kitna hasayoge yaar...

Ek Kaam Karo... CHULLU BHAR PANI LO aue Doob Jayo Haramkhoro.

Since last 1 yr, We have almost 7-8 Captains and can't believe this stupidity of VVS as coach. Players and coaches who can't committ fully should never be picked ever again. It was understandable for SA ODIs as Indian team and coach were in Australia but this continuous musical chair of Captains and coaches exactly sums up the state of Indian cricket.

In accountable sports like football a coach would be fired after such a heavy defeat/exit but in Ind cricket the poor coaches are rested.

Laxman is a dead man's Dravid.

You cannot make this up.

This is a great post.

In Australia our coaches in Rugby, AFL let alone cricket are held responsible and are fired.

In India it appears there is no one to answer to, hence everything remains the same.

The only way a fan can fight back is either not to attend matches or boycott sponsors.

exactly why Kumble was sacked.

Players want a yes man

Kumble would have made them tough.

Never forget when he led India in Australia and took them all on, in regards to the Spirit of the Game. He was tough, he would have been hard on  all the players.

It makes sense he was sacked.

Lets face it, they have selected people in charge that are so grateful to get a position that they would be absolutely stupid and foolish to cut off the hand that feeds them.

Bollywood went the same way in playing with peoples emotions and people responded by boycotting films which means the industry has suffered massive losses.

fans need to do the same for cricket- stop attending matches and IPL stop buying any product endorsed by cricketers. That’s the only way to hit BCCI to wake up and introduce some accountability. However we have a chewtiya janta who are fan boys of these prima donnas and they will still watch and follow them till the ends of this earth.

As I stated many times, this is the way for the fans to be united and make a stand.

If you hurt the BCCI they will be forced to fixed the situation.

Players need to realize that yes one game does define your career, not endless meaningless stat padding matches outside of tournaments.

As an cricket Indian fan I am very disappointed with our performance, not taking a single wicket in Semi Final and opposition chasing down our hard worked total with 4 overs to spare, in front of millions of fans. Since IPL started we have never won WC!

I have said it many times on here before, as good as the IPL has been for many, it has damaged Indian Cricket.

Indian players are not hungry for success, they feed their hunger via IPL wins.

Yeah, his terrible picks have ruined the sunrisers franchise! Besides packing the bowling with trundlers like Bhuvi, Sandeep Sharma, Sidharth Kaul, etc, this guy displayed miserly tactics for years by picking useless batsmen and hoping to ride Dave Warner's coat-tails.

Umm didn't he have umraan too..just saying..he is still bad though
