Kuldeep Sen was bowling with full intensity day before 2nd ODI in nets. But was niggled out.

I felt the same looking ever since T20WC team selection. Other than finding a new team to root for, there's not much Indian fans can do at the moment. Even the IPL has become boring as teams depend on overseas players for matchwinner role.

I am unable to find words to express what I am feeling atm. It's really demoralising as an Indian Cricket fan to support his team when all we get to see are mediocre selections one after the other.

 

Jaydev royally effed his chances when he was choosen, why the heck we are giving him chances again instead of selecting a new fast bowler. Umran is fit, Kuldeep just had stiff shoulder so he should be fit now as well. 

 

Every pacer whom ICF has backed is now either injured or just out of radar....it's a pattern which can't just be a coincidence.

He needs to be backed because he has got express pace and can blow opposition on his day. I am not saying to play him all games but this was a great chance to give him a test debut against BD. He will not be in the Australia home series with Bumrah possibly back so he will have time to work on his game but he should be in this team when Bumrah, Shami and Prasidh are injured.

Doesn't really matter...  He is holding one key spot of a Pacer & may get picked in future series as well.

This is so annoying for us fans.. we have such a good number of fast bowling options but injuries and pathetic selections make a complete mess of everything.

 

Bumrah, Shami, Siraj, Prasidh, Umesh you have these five and then you can easily add Umran to that. Also, how come so many injuries every now and then? Bumrah Shami and Prasidh are injured at same time? I have never seen Australia having Starc, Cummins, Hazelwood all getting injured at the same time.

Jay Shah is a curse to Indian cricket...  Gujju monopoly destroying Indian cricket.  Every single thing this guy has done..  Appointments selections,  domestics has been clown level.

When Umran debuted in NZ ODI series, he looked in a different class to the other two pacers who were already in the XI, Shardul and Arshdeep. That's what genuine pace does. Use him for short spells and he is capable of giving you two quick breakthroughs straightaway. This was a great chance to give him a debut considering the injuries of our main pacers and selectors and Indian TM have blown away this opportunity.
