Unadkat, who bowled Saurashtra to the Vijay Hazare Trophy win recently, has been picked in place of Mohammed Shami who, as recently reported by Cricbuzz has been ruled out of the series due to a bowling arm stress. India is set to play two Tests in Bangladesh. The 31-year-old left-arm pacer played his only Test in 2010, against South Africa in Centurion. Since then, he has played seven ODIs and 10 Twenty20 Internationals but was never considered for the five-day game. Unadkat coming in place of Shami may not exactly be a like-to-like replacement but sources in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have revealed to Cricbuzz that the veteran pacer has been picked on current form. He was the highest wicket-taker in the just-concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy in which has had 19 scalps in 10 games. Unadkat, one of the most successful pacers in Indian domestic cricket, has picked 353 wickets in his 96-match career, which includes a record-breaking 2019-20 season of Ranji Trophy, in which he scalped 67 wickets en route helping his side, Saurashtra, to their maiden Ranji Trophy title. The Indian team in Bangladesh has been plagued with injuries with quite a few players, including skipper Rohit Sharma, coming on the list. More to follow Oh Wow! No need to waste our time following these Bozos. This has to be the worst selection by this TM. This takes the Bakery as Idiot gavaskar said earlier.
