A hat trick of golden ducks (this SKY has a limit)

Never seen anything like this. Last time when I saw something like this was Agarkar’s ducks in Australia (got like 5 or so ducks in a row). But this is the first time, I have seen 3 golden ducks in a row!

 

Bad luck is probably the best to describe this as SKY obviously is a much better player than this.

It's not bad luck, rather lack of defense is being exposed.

In that case, he would be getting out more regularly on the first ball, which he isn't apart from in this series. 

 

A lack of defense has not resulted in a hat trick of golden ducks in a series frequently even for tailenders.

That's why it can't be attributed to luck. Most batsmen can avoid it most of the time. It's just very poor game awareness.

I don't think so. He has shown good game awareness on multiple occasions.

Overrated T20 hack..I mean that's not a bad thing at all but the adulation he gets for those 70(30) knocks in low pressure games is just beyond cringe worthy.

 

The fact that he has played Test cricket before the likes of Gaikwad, Sarfraz etc shows how brain dead this team management really is.

Honestly what kind of game awareness makes you try to slash the very first ball you get when you have two golden ducks behind you & the very next ball after highest scorer for India in the game got out instead of defending?

Stubbornness, perhaps?  There was an article about him titled "I did it my way and it worked."  And he thinks his way will keep working, no matter the circumstance.

 

Here's my non-expert question:  What is the major difference between ODI and T20 cricket that is causing this non-transferability of his skill?  I mean, he has consistently (from the very first T20I ball he faced) done whatever he likes in T20 matches.  Why can it not be replicated?  Are the formats *that* different?

 

Having said all that, find that dumba$$ who started the thread about SKY being a national treasure and slap him.  Bakwaas :-).
