All in all, it is the squad we all expected, and tbh probably the best possible 15

Prasidh can easily make it into the squad ahead of Shardul or Shami. What batting did Shardul give us the other day? Or even Jadeja for that matter?   We are compromising both bowling and batting depth with this nonsense.

 

Shardul could not be trusted to bowl more than even 4 overs against friggin Nepal.  Trash masqueradinga s an allrounder

Gardul Thakur & KeLa making it to the World Cup team. Even Shivam Dube would have been an upgrade over this fake allrounder. Thakur is ok for tests but for ODIs, he doesn't inspire confidence. 

 

Kela, i dont know how this parasite makes it back to Indian team time and again without any performance backing his selection.

How can anyone give this statement. How will KL rahul provide balance to the team.

 

If Ishan is injured or is not performing, they can always niggle him out and bring Rahul back into the team.

I don’t believe anything that idiot Vikar Gupta says. Also, can’t believe Agarkar and selectors are so strong to armtwist Rohit to not get his squad. Axar brings in much needed batting at #8/9 if he replaces Shardul or Kullu

All batsmen like Jaiswal, Ruturaj had been tried, don’t warrant selection over current batch. Ishan is better than Samson Despite the gripes of Mallus

On what basis are you saying they don't warrant selection over the current batch?

What has SKY done to warrant selection?   It's not even like he bowls a few decent overs. He's a waste of space

 

Jaiswal and Varma have not played a single ODI and Ruturaj has not played more than 2?

Jaiswal hasn't played ODIs yet.

 

He was mighty impressive in test matches and the IPL. 

 

He has a run machine mentality and could be mentally tough. 

 

Plus brings in the much needed LHB variation at the top to unsettle opening pacers.
