Our selectors don't understand the format difference, as Jadeja has done well in Tests, he is now a default selection across formats...no matter what.

His success in ipl this year is another boost for his selection, nothing else matters for our selectors.

As per the above article, it will take around 3 weeks for Axar's injury to heal.   So, it's official that Ashwin has replaced Axar.

Ashwin is too big of a player to sit on bench, plus the echoes of WTC final will also be in minds of the selectors.

In the first place , selecting 2 very similar LH darters was a mistake . Yet feel for Akshar.

Once injury happened , change was on expected lines.

Color me surprised,the moment i saw that he was not in the lineup for the 3rd ODI i knew he was in the WC Squad.this gives our bowling attack more variety and more importantly we can play Ashwin against the Aussies at Chennai.

why ? i wouldnt even call him a spinner.Maxwell is a spinner,he actually spins the ball.All Sundar does it dart the ball,he is not looking to take wickets.
