"Dhoni has not told anybody in CSK that he is quitting. He has told the management that he will wait for a couple of months before taking a final call," the report quoted a source as saying. "He did not feel any discomfort in his running between the wickets and that is a plus."

What chutzpah is this ?

Either retire or say you want to play next season as well...Whats the point of playing this hide & seek with the fans who are following him every season just to get a glimpse of their Thala.

Reminds me the story of that cattle boy who used to shout "Lion Lion" for no reason just to scare off the villagers, he continued that to an extend that villagers stopped coming to him.

MS need to realize that and stop dragging it for long.

The more i see his fans the more i realise they are paid army

I really wished India had won Nov19 WC,but completely ignored Rohit and Coach Thanos's oversmartness, had we won that WC the entitlement this fraud dhoni has would have clipped

But then Rohit would have carried it from there

It appears as if people are asking him the question when he is not yet ready with an answer (every season ppl tend to ask him this question) ... Let him announce his retirement at his initiative and pace, and when he is "ready".

Does it matter when he retires? if he plays he will do the samething he has done in his whole career. When pressure is there he will send someone else to face the music but when everything is won by someone else, he will come and hog the limelight.

Let these old hags do whatever they want in IPL. Dhoni, Ashwin, Jadeja, Rohit, Rahane, Ishant, Umesh....just leave Team India alone.

yea. MSD hasn't been hurting India for 5 years. Let us focus on the ones that are still hurting. Let us start with November 19th culprits.

This retirement drama has been milked for last few years and will be for couple more at least. Its a nice PR tactic, keeps focus on him with people talking, the expectations will be low as its his "last cup", so not much pressure of performance. People will come to cheer him and watch him more as it maybe the last time he plays.

Rinse and repeat every year.
