You have had great teams over the years inspite of all the challenges and quota system to manage. This is a great bunch young talent that they have, bowling and batting.

 

They were great in WC 2023 and great in WC 2024. They should have probably won this one, but perhaps next time. But you are one step closer.

Had Sky not taken that mind boggling catch, SA probably would have won.

 

That Klassens dude is Klusener 2.0. That over of Axar Patel, he was hitting 6s at will.

 

They were a worthy opponent.

 

They truly deserved to be in the final. And on their day, win the final.

 

Mad respect to their team. I hope they overcome the final hurdle soon.

You can't not feel for South Africa.

 

This wasn't like the 99 WC - Ridiculous running with two balls to go.

 

Or the 2003 WC - Fail to progress post the group stage when they were the hosts. Because they got the rain calculations wrong.

 

They bowled, batted and fielded well. India just bowled, batted and fielded just that little better.

 

There was really nothing to separate the teams.

 

The way Klassens was batting, made you wonder if he was batting on a different pitch to the Indian team.

Actually the only opponent who I would have sort of been okay winning the final..a team of very likeable players and a monster in Klaasen

Feeling very bad for SA, but I would rather have them on the losing end than Rohit, Kohli failing once again. 

 

If India had won WC last Year, I would have supported Saffers today.

 

Will support them to win the CT next year in Pakistan.

Australia too picked warner over mcgurk. There selection too was ridiculous, picking etc Tim David wade etc.

30 of 30 needed and I thought the match was all dead and done. Cursed rohit for bringing on axar against klaasen. This victory has been nothing short of a miracle. Credit goes to Bumrah Arshdeep & Hardik for not only bringing us back in the game but winning it.
