1. USA

2. France

3. UK

USA - colonization of Americas, toppling democracies left and right for the interests of American industrialists.

France - colonization of African countries. To this day, French control of African economies is widespread.

UK - colonised half the world. But their influence is weak in 2024. USA and France still practice colonisation through loans.

Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Japan get a special mention for their historical colonisation and mistakes.

In some places, colonization resulted in the establishment of democratic societies. It's not all white and black actually.

The average American is decent but politicians, businessmen and the media are a criminal nexus. I still can't forget or forgive the so called liberal  New York Times for endorsing the 2003 Iraq War! Left, Right - they are all a criminal nexus pretending to be different on the surface but working together behind the scenes for nefarious purposes.

A lot of their top leaders are weapon industrialists or lobbyists for these industries. Wars are their bread and butter. So many American citizens themselves have died for their profits while fighting wars, we can't even think of how much dispensable other countries may be in the eyes of these guys.

Yeah democratic agents working for their former colonisers.:hatsoff:

Why do you seem to dislike democracy? Do you really think the Indian subcontinent would have established a democratic system without the influence of British colonial rule?

Most evil has many contenders.

A stand out has to be North Korea, most of the evil nations mentioned here were cruel to other people for the benefit of their own.

The North Korean regime is cruel to its own people.

Easier question: which is the most humane country in the world? De jure and in societal terms.

One way to judge is how the country treats its minorities and its down trodden.

Has to be India. :isalute:

Of course there is a lot of room for improvement, but we will get there eventually.  We are a country with righteousness, humanity and sharing as a part of our national ethos.

Quite a reach there. How did you assume that I disliked democracy?

Mughals were on their way out. Marathas would have controlled majority of India barring Mysore and some small territories. Unification would have happened organically.

Societies don't adopt democracy naturally. It usually comes through violence, bloodshed and struggle.

Democratic forces should actively intervene in other countries to overthrow monarchs, dictators and religious theocrats, creating a path for democracy. Without exploiting the local population, of course.
