Ashwin claimed that Deep was bowling at his best and troubling the batters but he spotted Kohli approaching and asking him to change his lines. The former Indian spinner claimed it was a case of the ex-Indian skipper thinking from the lens of a batter on what could trouble Steve Smith. Ashwin claimed that the plan backfired as he was hit for boundaries leading to the pacer losing his rhythm. Akash Deep was bowling a fabulous spell at the Gabba. He was probably bowling his best, but Bumrah wasn't. He was going through a wonderful spell of 3-4 overs. I was watching the game from outside. I saw Virat run up to him and say, ‘seedha daalo yaar, seedha daalo!’ [bowl straight!]. Immediately, out came a fielder and he went to leg gully. Aakash Deep bowled on the body and a couple of balls on the leg side, he got flicked and pulled. His rhythm went awry," said Ashwin at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) AI Conclave in Bengaluru in an interaction with Harsha Bhogle. "In Virat’s head, he thought that was uncomfortable for him, so if you do that against Smith, you will get him out. If you don’t understand a bowler, this is what happens. But if you understand a bowler, you know he’s going through a good spell, allow him to build on that spell," Ashwin added. So not only are these seniors taking undeserving places, they are also giving nonsense advice and ruining youngsters Texan, rollingstoned and nevada 1 1 1 Link to comment

But when he was playing as a player he was mostly doing random things for screen time. He riled up a few opposition only to hurt us. Number, Sgattick10, nevada and 4 others 2 5 Link to comment
Gollum
Till now Ashwin has been spealking his mind without fear of repercussions or fan backlash. Let us see how long before BCCI silences him. Surely this version of Ashwin won't be tolerated in a commentary box by the powers that be. New guy and rollingstoned 2 Link to comment

Impending storm by the biggest online rape threat army in the internet. Wonder why Kohli and Anushka (both very vocal about social issues and prone to virtue signalling lesser Indians) never ask Kohlitards to behave? Can never forget the torrent of threats the SOs of Cutting, Head, Cummins etc. faced from this scum community. Now the wrong Sangwan getting the worst of this shitstorm just because someone sharing his surname dared to get Kohli out in a domestic game. cricspirit
In test cricket over the last 5 years Kohli is responsible for India losing in multiple ways. Plus his drama and media focus on him annoys the crap out of normal cricket fans who are not hardcore Kohli fans. Ashwin the test cricketer >>>> Kohli the test player Ultimate_Game 1 Link to comment
