Mujhe nahi lagta kuch hone waala hai, everything will be back to business again in 3 years time with all pyaar with Pakistan and what not, and in another 5 years or so there will be another tragedy. Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki democracy hi flawed concept hai, there is no unity here at all. China is focusing on innovation without any border threats while we are wasting our resources in stabilizing inner chaos and guarding our borders, while also getting humiliated for our cleanliness/hygiene. Kuch nahi hone waala iss desh ka

 

I am not angry at Modi. I understand that he's a human and there are limits to what he can achieve, managing a highly complex nation like India is a very hard job and he is doing his best. But I have finally accepted ki iss desh ka kuch khaas nahi hone waala hai. Enjoy your time here while it lasts...

Aise attacks happen every few months there. Last August, there was an attack on a tourist bus in Reasi. Army par to attack lage hi rehte hain. I don't get why people are enraged about a random attack in Kashmir when people call exodus of lakhs of Kashmiri pandits a fictional story. Attacks in Kashmir is a normal way of life there. Why it is so surprising? Attack na ho that is surprising.  I don't understand how people get the courage to go there for tourism, a place where terrorists are supported by locals and can come out from any corner.

Firstly , make the ICC declare Pakistan as persona non grata. The BCCI should refuse to tour any country that makes a tour of Pakistan or arranges tour with Pakistan. (Little bit of revenue that the boards lose can be compensated with T20 tours by the Indian B teams etc). 

 

This is about reducing Pakistan's presence and self validation. They think that countries touring them means that they are validated. Let them get *ed in their ghettos. Classic isolation technique. 

 

 

This is easier said than done. There is defo pressure from various corners. I was once talking to a fund manager who said that they are looking for regions with "peace". India needs inward investment for sure. We need to reach a point where we simply dont care about investment with the economy chugging along. This should be possible in the next 15 years. NRIs can play their part by investing in India even if it is not a 100% sound financial decision. Isreal gets a lot of investment from the Jews in Europe and the USA. Truth is there are too many armchair NRI who chase profit and then expect GoI to compromise on the economic front for geopolitical gains.

 

People blame Atal ji but he was leading a coalition at a time when there was huge US pressure from all things ranging from CTBT to WTO. Had to keep economy going. To avoid hard sanctions he needed to show the world (read west) that there would be "peace".

 

I think everybody knows Pak should not be trusted. Its an open secret. 

 

I agree btw, BCCI should refuse to play Pakistan even in ICC events in group stages. Forfeit or make the ICC have you in other groups. As it is we play Pak too much.
