ISPR and Pak FM watch them. Pak Mil spokie quoted Thapar and Satyapal Malik to say India did terrorist acts by itself and blamed Pak. Some West mouthpieces will run that story as a fact. These 0.5 front foot soldiers can cause more damage to India than their armies. We have to silence them at war times.,

It is not about $$$ but gaining strategic advantage. China has eyes on Indian territory too.

According to the video you linked to, the Chinese hypersonic is so cutting edge that not even USA knows how to track it and that, they can hit any target in the world in minutes with a 25 mile precision. Why the hell would they give away that kind of tech to any other country, let alone an unreliable actor like Pak who has on and off relationship with USA? 

 

Maybe China will directly strike India with it in future but they are not going to sell their trump card for pak bucks

yes, even operation sindoor can be said to be conducted based on opinion - not necessarily based on evaluating all most likely outcomes. 
 

The power flows in the below fashion: 

 

Masked enemies of India -> Pakistan -> Terrorists.

 

India attacked terrorists ignoring the support of Pakistan that they receive (can be said to be an unofficial arm of Pakistan), and attacked Pak without considering the backing it receives from masked enemies. 
 

There is usually an external power that comes in to influence an outcome in an important war. It is not just based on X and Y.
