Big picture. These are early signs of things to come. Generals would become household names. Why ? Because we are entering into an era of war. Whatever other bs you want to believe, this is now absolute certainty. Indian subcontinent will be lit and dynamics of army and role in society will change. Get used to this. We will have our comparable military industrial complex. We have one now but considerably larger. Army will also be engaged on domestic matters. India will be engaged and we will engage on all of our borders.

Some main points of PC.

 

1. The activities involved during air fight were similar to war-like scenario.

 

2. All Indian pilots are safe.

 

3. Call for cease fire came from Pakistan side.

 

 

4. Some of Pakistani fighter planes have been destroyed.

 

5. Pakistani air bases were destroyed.

 

6. 9 terrorist camps were destroyed.

 

7. The combat situation is still on.

 

8. Navy formation in direction of Karachi is very active and will get involved if Pakistan escalates further. Karachi is locked.

 

9. The army chiefs have given required authority to wing commanders to retaliate appropriately.
