It was a poor economic policy by Pakistan to sell itself to China. Get into CPEC, the cheap and fragile chinese arms, rising hostility between government and balochis due to china first policy, afghan relations etc.The extetnal debt of Pakistan is too huge to repay given the political crisis in the country. It is nothing short of chaos. The stock exchange has plunged 14% and the trading was reportedly halted. Likely to fall down further as it contibues to escalates. With such lack of monetary resources, Given the turmoil it is into, it is astonishilng they have opted to engage and escalate in a war-like situation.

It’s deeply regrettable.
If India’s leaders believe the point about combating terrorism has been made, they should consider steps to de-escalate the current war-like tensions. Beyond disrupting the IPL and trade, this is a critical moment for India to capitalize on the US-China trade rift and draw global investment.
As for Trump, I have zero faith in him. He’d likely revel in a chaotic world, as long as the US stays insulated.

Its indeed regrettable.

But Pakistani jernails need to be taught a lesson.

Simply put, the life of Indians isnt cheap.

While Pakistan has worked as a mercenary for US and other western nations...they simply can't treat Indian citizens the way they treat their own.

Anyway, Pakistan has missed the bus several times in the past. Now Pak public need to come on the road and thwart the military rule, coz, the jernails will run away the same wait Kuwaitis did during Iraq war.
