crictime Posted May 13, 2025 Posted May 13, 2025 Pakistan is a failed state as soon as the IMF stops giving them loan. It has a government only for name sake, being ruled by the army behind the curtains. China and US are deciding Pakistans political leadership and have been successful in getting Pakistans foreign policies in their own interests. Wait till PKR falls further to 350 to 400 per dollar given the way it is going. Even if it does not, it is still in a horrible ratio. Add to all other factors, the internal stife and turmoil, their focus on supporting terrorism will cause their doom. It does not needs more external push - China and US have taken them to this situation already banging it left, right and centre as per their wishes. Those two countries determine who stays in power in Pakistan rather than their citizens. India should work upon own development in manufacturing sector, bolstering indeginious defense, strengthening the infrastructure, coming up with better economic policies. Corruption is a big hindrance to the development though and it seems none is interested to stop taking kickbacks. We need to solve our major problems first. singhvivek141 and ravishingravi 2
Alam_dar Posted May 13, 2025 Posted May 13, 2025 (edited) Sooner or later, this question will stand before you: What exactly is the goal? Is the aim to finish Pakistan? Or is it to erase Islam itself? And is it even possible to end Pakistan without addressing Islam first? If so, does that also mean Bangladesh must be dismantled too? What about the millions of Indian Muslims? Where do they fit in this equation? So, the real question is: What do you truly want? Do you want all Muslims of the Indian subcontinent, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh, to be forcibly converted to Hinduism? Or is the intention to subjugate them politically and socially. In my view, there is only one practical and ethical solution: Secularism. Muslims can move towards secularism or liberal values, but expecting them to convert to Hinduism is unrealistic and practically impossible. On the other hand, it is far more achievable for Hindus to embrace secularism and liberalism, though their aversion to Islam may persist for a long time. But secularism offers a simple yet powerful alternative: With secularism, no one needs to change their religion. The focus shifts from religious identity to human equality and coexistence. That is the only viable path forward for everyone. Edited May 13, 2025 by Alam_dar coffee_rules, bharathh, pkmmamks and 1 other 3 1

Greenbros are busy self-anally-violating instead of bothering to do the work necessary to compete with us. Getting the Chinese to provide them with weapons isn't competing with us, in the meantime they mortgaged and sold off their future, including agricultural land, to the Chinese. Let them continue slow motion suicide driven by hatred. India just needs to manage the terrorism risk, which we are decent with, esp with Op Sindoor. However, I brought it while I see religion is indeed playing a huge role on the both sides of the border. In my opinion, denying the reality is, unfortunately, not going to solve the problem. 2 hours ago, putrevus said: Killing innocent people in name of religion Why? For Indians, Pakistanis are killing in the name of religion. For Pakistanis, Indian Hindutva aimed to destroy entire Pakistan only due to their hatred against Muslims. How are we going to solve this problem, except for returning to secular/liberal values. Otherwise, the radical elements of both sides will keep on strengthening each other. 2 hours ago, putrevus said: Hypocrisy of Pakistanis, they don't want to let go Balochistan but they want Kashmir. For Indians, Baluchistan should get independence. Perhaps India may also be backing TTP. And Pakistanis are found saying the same that Kashmir, Punjab, Manipur, Nagaland don't want to be part of India and must get independence along with the entire South India. So, how are we going to solve all these issues? Through destroying each other? Or are there any peaceful solutions possible?

I fear that without embracing secularism, both Pakistan and India will continue drifting further into religious extremism. This growing radicalism will inevitably lead to more conflict between Muslims and Hindus, not just across borders, but even within India itself. Pakistan was the first to set this dangerous precedent of religious radicalization and is now suffering its consequences. Initially, India was pushed towards Hindu radicalism in reaction, but today, it has become self-sustaining in this ideology. In my view, there is no permanent solution to this vicious cycle except through secularism. The only alternative is for one side to dominate the other socially and economically, but even then, the hatred will persist. Pakistan, Muslims and Islam have the biggest share in all these problems. Hopefully India does not follow this path and get rid of radicalization, as it will drag India too in darkness.

ravishingravi Posted May 14, 2025 Author Posted May 14, 2025 Another thing people are not Factoring is break up of Bangladesh. There is a lot of talk about India's capabilities. India is now in an unusual situation where hawks overestimate it's abilities and bears underestimate. This is our neighborhood. People don't understand what India can do over long term.
randomGuy Posted May 14, 2025 Posted May 14, 2025 @Alam_dar there are 12-13 cr pakistani punjabis and 5.5 cr people from sindh.
