What sort of Looney Tunes characters have been appointed as coaches? Coach can always chew players' ears off behind closed doors but why make a public spectacle out of this? In a PC? What is the media manager doing?

 

Toxic coaching setup, our youngsters have it so bad. From coaches/selectors to ex-players to fans, and Indian media, SM armies....whole world is against them.

This is the most toxic coaching staff we have ever had to endure. Terrible man management. 

 

Greg Chappell was also like this but his targets were almost always the seniors, players who had been around for 10-15 years, who would be better equipped mentally/emotionally to deal with his style. Still ended badly.

 

This setup goes after 22-23 year olds....I mean, kids like Reddy, Jaiswal, and Arshdeep are as young as 3rd or final year UG students thrust with the responsibility of meeting the expectations of a billion-plus people. Go easy on them, be a father or elder brother like figure for them. 

 

The kinds of faces GG was making, and the gaali galoch when Arshdeep was struggling in that game against RSA. Ever seen a SENA coach do anything remotely similar?

When you are playing 3 genuine Pacers in a XI in India you don't need a fast bowling A/R in the first place.

@Nikhil_cric  why don't they learn 

Try to fit in folks like Parag, Abhishek into middle and lower middle order in ODI cricket until top order slots are empty.

 

Parag and Jaiswal would do better job than Sadeja and Nitish with both bat and ball at present.

I don't think he has lost the dressing room. I think he is trying to balance fan favourites with a team he thinks can win. T20 squad is the absolute best we could have selected. England test squad was also good. I still think they will get the test squad right but actual ODI team will only be built after WC '27 once we are knocked out in league games.

Here is the PC, donot think he was that harsh, think they are releasing now that Nitish is not ready for intnl cricket in any capacity bit it bat or ball.

 

He needs to play more at domestic level to improve on both , and should have let him be in fringes for t20i team. But that is okay these kind of players have to be picked as there are not many who can bowl seam and bat.

 

These bits and pieces player will not work vs a strong side, they may have a day or two and may work vs lesser opp. but not good side.

 

Not sure why they picking sundar in white-ball/all format and picking badhoni as replacements ...., one low potential player after another....
