BeautifulGame Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Spectacular comeback win.Definitely one of our best wins. Great knocks from Rahul in bott innings.Jadeja bowling in first and Ashwin in second ,Umesh also in 2nd innings. And then the great partnership between Pujara and Rahane when we were virtually dead and buried. Now time to bury Aussies in the next two tests and win 3-1 Laaloo, Mosher, adi B and 3 others 6
tweaker Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Great character shown by the players .It augurs well for future Mosher 1
G_B_ Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Probably second to Eden gardens? Bystander, OpeningBatsman and Masquerade 3
OpeningBatsman Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Shades of 2001 losing first test... Again in the dumps in second test then coming back to win.. Mosher, express bowling and adi B 3
Chalks Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Really great win, to rival Adelaide 2003* in coming from a long way behind in the game. * Kolkata 2001 was such a freak match, nothing can be compared to it. King Tendulkar 1
speedheat Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Credits to jaddu umesh rahane pujara asswin & kohli Mosher and express bowling 2
kubrickian Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Definitely one of the best comebacks. After day 2, Australia were in a great position and I thought they had a great chance to win the game easily. But Indian bowlers worked hard and pulled them back. After that, Rahul, Pujara and Rahane made the crucial contributions and then it was Ashwin, Yadav and co who did the damage. Great test match. One of the best I've seen in recent teams because it was so intense and there was something happening every ball. There was not a single dull moment for 4 days. Mosher 1

CG Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Good comeback after being under pressure. but the Aussie team is poor and this was expected
BCCI Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Do not know about others but with his Aus side I was somewhat expecting this.I was really amused when I read the other day that Ind were in hopeless situation at he start of the 2nd day.Yesterday's last session really comforted me as a fan.But Virat was brilliant today with his captaincy,I loved his enthusiasm after every wicket(today he ultra animated ) and Ashwin coming back to his best helped as well. And finally DRS(umpiring luck) went our way as well in the last innings with Warner's and Marsh's wicket. Mosher 1
CG Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Probably second to Eden gardens? Not at all this would probably make it to top 10.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Ill say something like Mumbai 2004 test vs australia
speedheat Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 None to the batsman who scored two 50s in the tough pitch? Oops I forgot Thenkzzz for correction yes kl too
Gollum Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Great win and first time we have seen this young team come back to win a test match after being under the pump for so long. Mostly we have been ruthless but credit to the Aussies, they have come well prepared. Really exciting times ahead for all Indian cricket fans. I see us doing well in the 4 big overseas assignments in the coming 2 years. Mosher and CG 2

Laaloo Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 That 2nd day was so so good. So much tension and even though we didn't bowl AUS out we didn't let them run away with the game. Gollum, CG, adi B and 4 others 7
Cricketics Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Best day was day 2 in terms of cricket played. Day 4 had some great bowling from Starc and Hazlewood followed by Indian bowling. Class batting by Pujara and good support by Rahane in the last session on day 3. Day 2 was just brilliant. Mosher, flat_wicket_bully, Laaloo and 2 others 5

Typical Ind performance on a rank turner.
Late Cut Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Great win. This is what test cricket is about. Not some cakewalk or one sided contest. Lots of grit and mental toughness in this team- win or lose. Gollum, Mosher and Laaloo 3
Gambit Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Day 2 reminded me of one of Dhoni's best days as an Indian captain (Nagpur 2008, Australia 1st innings) where he employed an 8-1 offside field and throttled them. While Kohli should have used Jadeja more, the intensity shown by him, the team and Ishant and Umesh in particular was amazing. Gollum, Shunya, Cricketics and 1 other 4
