TNAmarkFromIndia
"Would have batted first as well. Hopefully it doesn't break down so much. Hopefully there's dew later. This is a knockout game for us. Everyone is pumped up," Virat Kohli says. "We are one of the best chasing teams in the world. We have to show that today. [Do you know your World Cup combination now?]Pretty much. The last two games didn't go our way but it's not like we haven't been doing well overall. In terms of team balance, we are sorted it our head. We aren't unbeatable. But so long as we can learn from our losses, we're okay. Chahal misses out, Jadeja comes in, Rahul misses out Shami has been added. We bat till 8 with Bhuvi in. This we feel is our most balanced side." So Vijay Shankar will be our No. 4 going into the World Cup? Link to comment

putrevus
I think this is best balanced side, If Pandya is fit, either BK or Shami will make way for Chahal. Cricketics 1 Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
Never ever go by what Kohli or Shastri say. They say things for the sake of it. Kihli said Rahane will be no. 4, idea was dropped after 2 series Said Rayudu was the confirmed no. 4, Rayudu is not in the team SHastri said Rohiy/Dhawan will get rested rotated, hardly done. beetle, diehardpacer, flamy and 1 other 2 2 Link to comment
Rightarmfast
Kedhar Jadhav and Jadeja in the team, and the team is balanced? How corrupt can you get. Why are we not playing genuine batsmen, when there are more than one pure batsmen waiting? This is a recipe for disaster. This Bunty sajdeh... ma&*%#$d Link to comment
mishra
Going with 5 specialist bowlers is his style. Relying on pacers is his style. Well this style doesnt work in limited overs Link to comment

putrevus
People need to get real, it is not captaincy which is at fault. Most players including captain himself have just one skill. Teams like Indian team will always struggle to get that balance right. diehardpacer 1 Link to comment

Batting was definitely easy in initial overs and thats why both sides would have wanted to bat first. So thats only saving grace. Edited March 13, 2019 by mishra Link to comment

They'd argue how Kohli won almost 2/3rd of matches under his captaincy which is on record. All selection botch-ups by aggressive Kaptaan gaya tel lene. bahubali, mishra and flamy 3 Link to comment

As if we're effing NZ to find solace in going as far as we could. Despite having the tools in our inventory to succeed in big tournaments we've underperformed consistently during key moments. Kohli is too stubborn imo, only a miracle ala Warnie/Gilly type performance in the knockouts(if we reach) could help us otherwise it is doomed scenario.
