cric_fan Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Friggin ridiculous. Next time he should hug & kiss batsmen after getting them out. GoldenSun, Sidhoni, sandeep and 1 other 4
Captain Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 https://streamable.com/9y37a Said "F*ck off" to Stokes after getting him out. A fine would have been enough IMO

Tattieboy Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Word is that ECB is going to release a tape of it, SA chief executive is flying over.whole of England is in uproar, ....on an by note I hear Matthew Wade has taken up ballet dancing))))

Tibarn Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 No Steyn and now no Rabada. Root might get a triple century next match.
Cricketics Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Guys the system has changed now, you don't get banned by one offense. Now you get points for every offense you commit and then in few years if you have certain number of points, you get banned. So he did not just get banned for what he did to Stokes, he just gained some demerit points to add to his tally and hence was officially banned for the next test as he had enough points to be banned. That said, you shouldn't get any point for such little thing, its not that he went in front of him and showed him the way to the pavilion. Here is the new demerit points system http://m.wisdenindia.com/full-story.php?category=News&id=223078& New guy and GoldenSun 2

Sandeep99 Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 No one can escape the wrath of England. Poor Rabada is paying the price now.. Disgusting from ICC. Tendu_10, nevada and GoldenSun 3
Scar Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 (edited) ICC acts like a wannabe strict master who only take action against the students who are not having powerful enough background while keeps mums over bullies as they are inviolable. Where was this pharisaical ICC when clarke ordered a broken effing arm for Anderson? Edited July 9, 2017 by Scar Tendu_10 and nevada 2
mishra Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Looks like memories of friendly against Africans in runup to CT is still fresh for English. But still, Rabada should have been carefull
YCCC Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 This is literally the only place making a fuss of this (and Cricinfo comments but that goes without saying). SA have accepted it, no one in the England camp were bothered, especially Stokes who hears it all the time and loves it. They most likely didn't know about the ban until it was announced by the ICC yet the comments here suggest they were forcing the punishment through which I can guarantee was not the case. Any excuse to have a go at England though!

Any excuse to have a go at England though! Most people here are pretty neutral when it comes to England and RSA. Also this is not the "only place making a fuss". There is a similar sentiment on other forums not to mention your own Sky Commentators don't like it much either. express bowling 1
