Agree with you.  Our problem is that the current version of Dhoni bats at about 60 SR for his first 25 balls, that absolutely kills off our momentum right at the time when the team should be looking to accelerate.  That's why for my lineup, Dhoni bats at #7 or 8, unless we have lost 3 early wickets by the 15th over or so.  If we are past the 30th over, especially batting first, the likes of Pandya and even Jadhav should bat before MS.

Don't mind Rahane at 4. With him in the XI, there is some sense of assurance and comfort that you don't get from Pandey/Iyer/Jadhav.

Glad to see we are winning overseas, but is India over-dependent on Kohli for chases? Who else does well in chases if we lose Kohli early?

 

How many successful chases have we had in the last 15 months without Kohli making a significant contribution?
