I think you misunderstood my comment. Dhoni's doing this for the better part of 3 to 4 years, he's not winning us any games on his own anymore and he's not even trying after giving up the captaincy. The T20 against England in 2014, WC SF against Aus, Bangers ODI series in 2015, first ODI vs SA in 2015 & so many more LO games where he failed or gave up. There's only dark clouds, no silver lining if he's our main WK for the next WC.

He needs to go man... It's over now... Pant or kishan have to come in.. It's unlikely that he does not know this..

Because they didn't invest their time and money to watch a gutless innings from someone hyped up to be the best finisher in the game. They were hoping for a good game but got a sh*tfest instead.

He was not even showing any intent to win, refusing to take singles and all. It's one thing to fail in a match, but these kind of innings will make a poor show and it's not good for the game.

Whatever happened to greatest ODI team ever lmao? Every tom dick and harry knew you had some glaring weeknesses in botj batting and bowling but you indians were jumping in joy over victories on back of individual brilliances.

Who said it's the greatest ODI team ever? Almost all the fans here have been complaining a long time about the many passengers in the team.

But despite all that it's still a top team. Unfortunately, If handled properly it would have been unbeatable.

Bhuv. Bumrah did not play so death over problems.  Half icf was calling out middle order problems.  And 90% were shouting about Dhoni Raina.. We're you living under a rock.

Because Pant is a better keeper than DK. Aren't you a fan of specialists? Of course you can debate how can I say Pant is a better keeper but trust me he is.DK has never been very good in keeping. He makes a mess of simple stumpings. His best chance is to play as a batsman in place of Raina. But my personal opinion is he is still not a kind of hitter that modern day cricket requires at auch positions. He is more into timing than both timing and brute force which is what Rohit, Rahul, Yuvi, Raina has or had.

How is it a top ten whose batting beyond top 3 is almost non existent and bowling lipe up has only 2 to 3bowlers ( bumrah , kuldep, bhuvi ) who can be termed as reliable and handy.

Well because the other teams have been crap enough to let them win. Just check the record for ODIs since last 3 years. Won all the bilateral series. Made it to CT finals as well. If that's not a performance of a top team, I don't know what is.

So the team has 6 reliable players. They have been good enough to get results. You get results, you are a top team.
