Imagine BCCI accepts all of Kohli's requests for world cup - Allowing wives, traveling in train, more fruits, resting fast bowlers for IPL etc. etc.

Nice idea and it echoes the sentiments of many here but the problem is that the ipl is a monster that can't be controlled by the whims of individuals/superstars. 

It is upto the franchise ,the COA and the individuals to take a call ,it's impossible practically tbh

It is also as important that fast (?) bowlers like Unadkut,  Kulkarni and Thakur be encouraged /compensated to skip the World Cup.

I do not think bowling 4 overs in a game of IPL will injure a player. However, what is indeed needed is BCCI should be mindfull of this and must rest players if either pacer have any niggle.

 

Also if these pacers are working on some type of delivery in nets with the BCCI bowling coach. They shouldnt be using that in IPL

rest is overrated. They are athletes in prime shape and should be looking for as much match practice as possible. For mental rejuvenation, yes, rest is important but that can be achieved at a good resort in a week!
