Kohli, sharma, rahane have suggested to BCCI and COA that key pacers such as bumrah and bhuvi should skip ipl this year and be compensated for it. No mention of batsmen or spinners. BCCI is mulling. Franchises such as Mumbai Indians might lose bumrah and pandya.

Thoughts?

And who is going to compensate franchises? Is this guy for real? IPL is as close to World cup in terms of popularity and these phuckers should just do what they are told.

IPL will still have the same viewership even if they rest a couple of bowlers

But franchises will lose out on top players. In a 4-year cycle, ICC conducts 3-4 tournaments and IPL shouldn't lose out on players each and every time, especially Indian players who are the main attraction of the tournament.

But BCCI has to prioritise 50 over wc,don't care really about T20 wc(that too happens once in 2years)

Infact there are many players in pipeline waiting for their chance once there are places up for grabs in shortest format not sure about 50 over format

Even I don't care about IPL. But how can the players set the rules here? Shouldn't it be franchise owners as they spend a lot of money. Lately, there's been demand-after-demand by Kohli, with no performance to back it up.

Agree with Kohli to some extent

A) what who will compensate the $$$?

B) Cricketers especially the ones from the SC are very insecure, what if a young upcoming  Indian seamer has an outstanding IPL? Already guys like Umesh Yadav and Shami are on notice.

These suggestions sound amazing on paper but not always practical
