DGBOSS Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 It almost feels like India will be 40/2 on Sunday facing Starc and Cummins. To add to it, Dhawan is in terrible form. Thoughts ?
Ajju Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Rohit has best record in aus and vs aus Ankit_sharma03 and AK007 2
philcric Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Need to play conservatively in the first 10 overs and see off first spells of Starc and Cummins.

Ankit_sharma03 Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Dhawan needs to be careful as starc has troubled him a lot in past
vvvslaxman Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Let us send Kuldeep and Chahal to open :) nevada and Stan AF 2
Cricketics Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 The best way to handle these guys is to attack. Don't go into a shell and think about playing them out. We are not playing World Cup final this Sunday. It's like any other game, go and attack those two Aussies. That is what Rohit and Dhawan are good at. If you try to negotiate their spell like if its test cricket then they will fall eventually if not to these two, then to some other dude whom they would try to hit every ball in order to up the run rate which they couldn't earlier. Better to attack and make sure Finch is asked to change his bowlers right away. Take a cue from Sehwag's semi final knock against Pakistan. Your strength is to attack remember. cowboysfan and AK007 2
maniac Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Rohit has smashed Starc and Cummins in Australia. No biggie RAZPOR 1
vvvslaxman Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Let us ask Vengsarkar the same question.. his answer will be Let us bring back Rahane tweaker, Stan AF, profster and 2 others 5
Nikola Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I can see either of dhawan or kohli score big runs against them but it depends if we are batting first or second.
Vilander Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 bounce won't bother either Rohit or Dhawan, in fact they will like it.
gattaca Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 (edited) After watching the current match for some time. They only have two bowlers. If you can see them off you can score runs. Edited June 6, 2019 by gattaca AK007 1

Exactly ,without jhye or Lyon their bowling looks a bit off in the middle. Ncn,stoinis,Maxwell can be easily targetted, zampa is a nemesis for Indians! But India will have a tough time facing starc and Cummins specially, it's hard to see India not losing 2 wkts in the first 10

Rohit did that well yesterday, beaten once or twice but left many deliveries and tonked some sixes later. Dhawan just hangs his bat out.
