Nikhil_cric Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 It's all very well for Mickey Arthur, Pakistan coach, to talk about ruthlessness on the eve of this clash but Pakistan, even at the best of times, was never known to be a team that consistently beat opponents anywhere let alone in an ICC tournament. That said , having beaten the World Cup favourites in a close encounter , Pakistan should expect 2 easy points against 9th ranked Sri Lanka provided the weather doesn't play spoilsport.

Sab kuch Kushal (mangal) hoga. To clarify - even a badly weakened SL team has the habit of pulling the odd surprising win in these tournaments. Think back to CT 2017. Edited June 6, 2019 by sandeep

Unless lakmal and Fernando get to bowl first on a greenish pitch and bowl out Pakistan below 150, I see no chance for SL. Their best bet to get a point is rain.

Just like Pak is down 6-0 from India in wc , SL is down 7-0 against Pakistan. Very difficult for this lankan team to break the streak
LordPrabhzy Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 There is rain predicted all day tomorrow in Bristol- looks like 1 point a piece.
Cricketics Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Pakistan is favorites but SL does have a chance. SL spin attack is weak. Their medium pacers and fielding unit must stand or Pakistan will run away with a big score and cause trouble. Best chance for SL to win is bat first and put on 270 and then hope for Pak to collapse. They did bowl well against Afghanistan on a. decent bowling pitch.
Gollum Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Who cares about the cricket? Tomorrow we have RG SF lineup of: Federer-Nadal Djokovic Thiem Adi BB, Haarkarjeetgaye, GeeGaw and 2 others 4 1
Zero_Unit Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 If pak looses this, minnow tag shall continue for rest of the tournament
chewy Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 WC'S first washout Good signs for Pak, whenever they have rain affected match they win ICC tournaments It's pak's WC to loose
mishra Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) Weatherman says, Raining whole day. But you never know. DL will have a say Edited June 7, 2019 by mishra

mani sha Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 This wc loosing a point might mean noosing a spot in the semis ... aus eng ind all above are guranteed to get to semis I feel between pak , wi and New Zealand nrr and point will matter - wi might sneak in as they will massacre a few opponents
SK_IH Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 If this is rained out, it's a dent to both teams' qualification chances Gollum 1
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 bahar baarish ho rahi hai - its raining its raining its raining
