He’s harbouring a wrong notion that bizarre actions will get you wickets in international cricket. I don’t want to recall those days when he was trying out all sorts of bowling actions (without actually spinning the ball) went for lots of runs without any wickets... The frustrated captain had to actually wait for new ball in the hope that this Ass will get any wicket...

Trying out new action and improving to stay competitive in batsmen dominated era is actually a good thing, however, whenever Ashwin has tried out such bizzare actions, he has gone for plenty and that's the cause of concern. He goes overboard at times rather than focusing to pitch the ball on right areas.

he did this some strange bowling action to sanju samson or someone in IPL ,  batsmen stayed where he was and bashed him for a six
