I6MTW Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Age will stop him as his game is hand eye coordination based.
Vk1 Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Eng not having Anderson has had a huge impact on Smith I would say Real McCoy 1

Nikola Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 My bet is bumrah or rabada but if it's asian conditions jadeja and hearth can do the job as well.
First class Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Wonder how Smith would play Bumrah in his current form. Smith has tamed Archer, can he do same to Bumrah ?
SecondSlip Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Jadeja will stop him if the test match is anywhere in Asia.

His average drops massively against left arm spinners, so Jadeja would be my pick. But he is so sensible as a cricketer that he doesn't have a glaring weakness for a particular length, also uses the crease very well to his advantage.

How did Smith tame Archer? Archer concussed him. But has been weary in this test, hasn't bowled at his usual pace.
Tibarn Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 A good spinner, especially a left-hander. An express bowler with a good bouncer is dangerous for anyone. A question is if his technique will hold up as his reflexes decline, as he isn't exactly compact technique-wise.
vvvslaxman Posted September 7, 2019 Author Posted September 7, 2019 Morkel nailed him twice in a row in SA.

Stan AF Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 The ban has completely triggered the animal of a batsman in him. It is as if in his mind everytime he's going out to bat it could be the last time. He's making truckload of runs to show why test cricket would be poor without him. bahubali, JourneyMan and express bowling 2 1
