The Dark Horse Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 I hated him during the test series vs India. Was contributing in one way or another. Was thinking he's average but may be just lucky. He has come a long way. You can't keep him out of the game. I was thinking he was the only good pick by CSK. For a young man he's got a lot of heart. Hopefully he'll achieve greatness at the international level. Stan AF, velu, bowl_out and 2 others 5
Ankit_sharma03 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Always liked him, what a valueable cricketer he is

Global.Baba Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 I think there is another thread like this
Serpico Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 he is definitely a fighter. if only he was a little taller and faster, he could be the next flintoff/stokes for england
SK_IH Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 He can do a better job of what Narine was supposed to do this year. Opening is the best position for him, next year on Indian flat decks, his batting will be very useful.
sandeep Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 The devil on my right shoulder is telling me to use my mod powers to delete this blasphemous thread. The Dark Horse, Laaloo and speedheat 1 1 1

It may be an opening spell or death overs, open batting, score runs lower down the order. put him on and he'll try his best to perform. cant say that about other cricketers who are fixed in their mindset about batting poistion or dislike to bowl if one is a batsman. Suhaan Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Gutsy cricketer, But my gut feeling he isn't far away from conceding 36-42 runs in an over in both franchise and international cricket
Global.Baba Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 @The Dark Horse already covered :) don’t forget the dot

Gollum Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Mediocre, honeymoon period chal raha hai, will be exposed soon. England had Tim Bresnan and everyone thought he would become a great player, where is he now? With his height, pace and skillset he will never be a 5th bowler. Has shown temperament in batting but doubt he can hold a place as batsman in any top 6 side atm. He will be at best the 15th best batsman in Eng in any format, as a bowler maybe even further down the pecking order....bits and pieces. sandeep 1
coffee_rules Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 (edited) Some fans (one particular fan actually) in today’s match thread were calling him all sorts of names - POS, gay boy, so gay etc. I guess he has a few frenemies Edited October 24, 2020 by coffee_rules

And is going to underwhelm the same way. That he plays most of his cricket in 'home' conditions that are swing friendly, mean he'll do a bit better. Thats about it. I'm being charitable. Gollum 1
