coffee_rules
Good thing they didn't go for Project Pandya in Tests, after the fiasco in Eng. Unless you are good in one dept and can be selected based on that, there is no room for BnP players in Test Cricket. Players in all three squads: Kh0li, Bumrah, Shami, Saini, Mayank, KLR, Jadeja ( ). Why Shardul for ODIs and not T20s? He is not a one-day player. Glad to see Dube missing too. Dhawan is back in T20 squad, he is suspect. Iyer, Pandey, I have no qualms. Would have loved to see SKY in the T20 squad. We need to build a T20 specialist only team. Edited October 27, 2020 by coffee_rules Rightarmfast 1 Link to comment

Prabhdeep Singh
Disgraceful decision if Rohit Sharma has been dropped. Should be part of Test Squad at least as tests start in mid December. Test Batting line up excluding Rohit is mediocre at Best, Aussie Bowlers will have field day: So called better Test Batsmen were played on the New Zealand Tour and we all know how that series ended. Ideal line up for Tests should be: Rohit S Mayank A C Pujara (Probably last tour of Australia for him) V Kohli S Gill Kl Rahul (Better Position to restart test career) However, the captain will pick the following: Kl Rahul (Poor test record)/P Shaw/S Gill M Agarwal C Pujara (Old, uninspiring batting, same tactics as last tour won't work) V Kohli A Rahane (Medicore) H Vihari (Medicore) Link to comment

ShoonyaSifar
Zero vision in the squad selection especially for Tests. The same failures who abjectly surrendered in NZ repeated. As if that tour never happened. Umesh Yadav still gets picked just for the sake of experience as if there are no other bowlers for Tests available in India. Link to comment

And KL Rahul has sucked donkey's anus in red ball cricket because some say he was weighed down by his ugly wannabe-tough-guy tattoos. Hey.. keep your language in check KLR has 100s in Aus/Eng in test cricket and not long back he had 6-7 consecutive half centuries opening in red ball cricket .. He is going through a slump, from which he may or maynot come back. Edited October 28, 2020 by diga coffee_rules 1 Link to comment

OpeningBatsman
I haven't read the whole article but I don't disagree with Sanjay. Rahul so, far has been a failure in test as an opener. YOU can't even argue that he was not given chances he was given 10-11 tests at stretch if i remember, last time around. Having said that he can be given another chance, maybe as a middle order bat. Don't just hate Sanjay for everything. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. What is with the sudden love for sreekanth. He was ridiculed here when he was a a selector as well as for being a csk fanboy but all of a sudden he is an angel?
